Our Wedding

We met as many couples in their 30's meet these days - online! Our first date at Mizu Izakaya started out great, then only got better as we moved on to ice cream at Little Man. We never looked back! Over the past year we have traveled internationally (Canada, London, and Japan), enjoyed meeting each other's families, had impromptu evening karaoke sessions, biked 100's of miles together, and worked on fixing up a 100+ year old house in Leadville (mostly Jay, occasionally interrupted by puppy pets and coffee dates with Erin). All the while, we have been slowly building a life together, learning how to survive both the highs and lows that life throws our way. We are so excited to share part of our journey together with the people that have helped to shape who we are today at our wedding!

From the classroom where we met teaching 6th grade science to the jungles around Boquete, Panama to the vineyards around Porto, Portugal to a game night anywhere, Gina is always a treat to hang out with. Thoughtful, funny, and always there for her friends, Gina is a gem to have as a friend in life.

Josh and I have been good friends for over a decade. Josh is an Athletic Trainer at Cherry Creek High School where he helps some of the best high school athletes in Colorado stay healthy and on the field. He is one of the most generous people you'll ever meet. He's a great father, a great friend, and I'm honored to have him as my best man.

Michael and I met at Grant Thornton early in our careers and worked together for many years. Michael is an avid endurance athlete, who's completed multiple Iron Mans and ultra-marathons. Michael and I are both frequent characters in Leadville. Michael I'm thankful to know you and honored to have you as a groomsman.

Jeffrey and I worked together at MarketForce together almost 15 years ago. Jeffery is one of the most outgoing people you'll ever meet, and has a wealth of home improvement knowledge from remodeling multiple houses. Jeffrey is a great dad and a great friend, and I'm honored to have him in our wedding party.

Jon and I have been friends for over a decade. Jon is tons of fun and was the lynchpin for a many a great night in our 20s. Jon is an engineer and has had an interesting career working on rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and in aerospace. Jon is a great dad, and a good friend. I'm honored to have him the wedding party.

Alex is my brother-in-law. Alex is an avid photographer and golfer, a talented chef, and an all around great guy. Alex has been a fantastic addition to our family and I couldn't have asked for a better brother-in-law. I'm honored to have him as a member of the wedding party.

Nick and I met through mutual friends, we play golf whenever we're able to find time and have bonded over some shared experiences in the corporate world. Nick is a great golfer and is a key piece of an occasional scramble tournament win. He will be busting a move at the reception.
